The Cottage
Rockrose Cottage is a comfortable 2 bedroom holiday bungalow, set in a picturesque location adjacent to Berry Head Nature Reserve, with easy access to the South West Coast Path. It is approximately 1/3 mile from Berry Head and just over a mile from Brixham harbour, the marina and town centre.
It is situated in a quiet road separate from the main Landscove Holiday Park.
The accommodation comprises a kitchen/diner/lounge, a double bedroom, twin bedroom, bathroom and an outside seating area. The kitchen is equipped with all you'll need for your holiday including hob, oven, microwave, fridge with ice box, kettle, toaster etc, and plenty of crockery, cutlery, glasses and pans.
Also included: Use of a 40" smart TV, DAB radio and free unlimited WiFi.
There is a small shop on site which is open during the main season and a launderette open all year.
There is a car park near the north site entrance, but you may load and unload outside the cottage.
Rockrose - 12 Landscove
The cottage is an end terrace and there are 2 steps at the entrance. There is a picnic table outside so that you can enjoy your breakfast, morning coffee or an evening drink outside. The front faces south so enjoys plenty of sun.
Lounge
After a day exploring, swimming, kayaking or walking on the South West Coast path, or a delicious meal at one of the many local pubs and restaurants, come home and relax in the cosy lounge. Access Netflix or Amazon Prime on the 40" Smart TV, choose from one of the Freeview channels or use the DVD player to watch something of your choice. Unlimited WiFi is available. A DAB radio is provided and there's a bluetooth sound bar so you can play your music from your own devices. One power socket has twin USB charging outlets. For those cooler evenings, there's a 'smart' panel heater, and an electric 'wood burner' heater!
Kitchen Diner
Equipped with table and 4 chairs, and all the crockery, cutlery, glasses and cookware you could possibly want on holiday, the kitchen/diner has an electric halogen hob, single oven, small fridge with ice box, microwave, toaster and kettle. Plenty of power sockets, one with 3 USB outlets to charge your gadgets!
Bedroom 1
A double bed with 2 wardrobes and 2 bedside cabinets with overhead storage. A 'smart' panel heater is installed for the colder months. A hairdryer is available. There are twin mains sockets at either side of the bed each with twin USB outlets.
Bedroom 2
Equipped with twin beds, a bedside cabinet and wardrobe, plus a 'smart' panel heater. There are twin mains sockets at each bedside each with twin USB outlets.
Bathroom
With newly fitted bath and overhead shower and, of course, a WC and washbasin. There's also an illuminted mirror with a shaver socket and a wall-mounted fan heater.
Note: the bath isn't really that short; I had to squeeze the photo to fit it into the image box without losing too much detail!
