Local History

Brixham is steeped in history.  There's evidence of settlement here since ... times.  What most folk see here today are remnants and present day features from relatively recent times and events.  There are many really good books, guides and websites on Brixham's history.  Some of my favourites are the postcard guides showing early photographs of Brixham.  If history is your passion, do visit Brixham Museum: you won't be dissapointed!
