Walks

There are many opportunities for walking in and around Brixham for both casual afternoon strollers to serious hikers!  Whatever your preference, Rockrose Cottage makes a great starting point. 

If you have any physical limitations, you should note that there are stiles and the like on many of the coastal paths.  However, although there are many hills and steep steps in and around Brixham, Berry Head, the town centre and much of the area immediately surrounding Brixham's harbourside is relatively flat and is easily accessed from the car parks by all visitors and wheelchair users.

We have provided a number of local maps and walking guides in the cottage for you to use during your stay.  We hope to publish some of our favourite walks in this section soon; some may be fetured on laminated sheets available in the cottage.
